Abstract

The distinguished artist award for the lifetime achievement in digital art is awarded annually to an artist who has created a body of work that has significantly advanced the aesthetic content of digital art. This years acm siggraph’s lifetime achievement award in digital art is awarded to Ernest Edmonds, as a pioneer in the fieldof computational art andwho has contributed to the broader field of contemporary artfrom the late 1960s.
