Abstract

This 4500-word commissioned journal article appeared in the Winter 2016 edition of Vestoj: The Journal of Sartorial Matters, 'On Masculinities'. The article considered the current research on the Men's Dress Reform Party, an eccentric campaign organisation that aimed to improve the cut, colour and comfort of men's clothing in the interwar period. Through revisiting the MDRP's literature and by offering new information on group members and their wider allegiances, the article added new details and angles to existing studies.
