Abstract:

Series of drawings and digital videos articulating movement within empty spaces. The drawings are of time-lapse videos of cloud movement on a number of different days, but rather than depicting visible forms, instead depict movement vectors as made visible by cloud movement. Video works are analogous to the drawings but the articulation of shapes within given voids are made visible through (a) recordings of starling mass movement and (b) moths captured in jam jars.
